4C hair appreciation post

Hey lovelies! It's been ages, I know I know! Life has been happening but I'm still on top of things. Now, as you may have seen on my Instagram page, little old me was made into a meme!! I was surprised to see how many Instagram pages shared the photo, the Twitter retweets and how many people related to the meme. While scrolling through the comments, I resonated with the majority of them and at the same time, I could sense that people didn't understand what the meme was saying. "I love this. Normalise this. I shouldn't have to gel my edges and baby hair down all the time for my hair to be accepted in society." The key word here for me was " all the time." You can gel your edges however times you want and whenever you want, BUT you shouldn't gel them because you feel like people will judge you for not doing so. The main culprits of 'judging' others are actually black people. We should learn to love each other regar
